Susan Gush & Paul Larouche

Our Story

Paul and Susan met through a mutual friend while Susan was in college at ECSU. Paul came to visit and after a couple nights of talking, hanging out with friends, and a lot of fun, as they say...the rest is history. They managed to keep their relationship going strong even though they lived 2 hours away, as Paul is in the Coast Guard and was stationed in Cape Cod, MA while Susan lived in Ledyard, CT with her parents. After a few years of back and forth on weekends, Paul was transferred to Elizabeth City, NC and Susan took the long 9 hour trek with him to start their life together. They currently live together and are planning their CT wedding from VA, which presents itself to be a challenge at times, but both are up to the task. They enjoy doing things outside, spending time on the beach, and being with friends...who they miss more than anything! They plan to move back up to New England some point soon if Paul's wish is granted when it's transfer season. but, for now Virginia is slowly becoming their home and an excellent place for family and friends to visit!

Our Wedding

The ceremony will be taking place at Susan's childhood church, Our Lady of Lourdes in Gales Ferry CT. The bridal party consists of Susan and Paul's family and long time friends who have supported them in every circumstance imaginable. They are very excited to share their special day with their loved ones!

Our Reception

The reception will be held at Stonington Meadows in Stonington, CT where Susan, Paul, their families and friends will celebrate their marriage with a cocktail hour beginning at 5:30pm and the party continuing with lots of dancing and laughter all night long!

A Special Message From Us

We can't wait to come home and celebrate the start of our life together with all of you. We are looking forward to the big day, and also VERY excited about our honeymoon to the Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica!
