Our Story
So, according to Adam "Math Rules, enough said." Basically we met in Math class at CCSU and the story has unfolded from there. After being together almost six years we got together to carve pumpkins. Even though it was a month late, we decided to carve them for Thanksgiving. We were at Adam's house and Sara wasn't feeling well so the night started by her having Adam carve gooble instead of gobble and she carved a pretty turkey. After we finished we put lights in to look at them. We took pictures and then he told Sara to shut off the candle so we didn't waste the battery. Sara lifted up the top, reached in, shut off the candle, put the top back and sat down in the chair. Adam looked at Sara with a funny look on his face and said, "Well that didn't work." Sara asked what he was talking about. He reached in the pumpkin and picked up the ring and said, "Oh look what was in there too." He got down on one knee next to her and said, "Will you marry me?" Of course Sara said, "YES!!" Then proceeded to picture message her ring to eveyone she knew!
Our Wedding
So, everything is finally coming together and hopefully you are visiting this site because you received our invitations! The wedding ceremony is going to start at 10:30am . It will take place at the Aqua Turf in the Chapel on 556 Mulberry Street in Plantsville. There will be plenty of seats, but make sure you get there so you don't miss anything! :)
Our Reception
The reception is a quick and easy walk over to the Wagon Room after the ceremony in the Chapel. There will be a cocktail hour from 11-12, then we will be announced in and then comes the food! The food that's going to be served is:
*Pepper crusted New York sirloin with red wine demiglace
*Chicken Wadsworth-chicken filled with fresh mozarella, roasted red peppers and spinach wrapped with prosciutto and a marsala champagne demiglace
*Pan-seared salmon with whole grain mustard, honey and ginger glaze
*Eggplant parmigiana
As you will notice in the invitation there is going to be "The After Party" that everyone is invited to. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
